Well done to Olivia Costello on winning the 2023 Scottish Girls’ Open Championship last Friday.
Olivia Costello at the age of 15 beat some of Europe’s best young players to win the Scottish Girls’ Open at Longniddry Golf Club by four shots from Sadie Adams, Nina Andersen and Zara Ali, having trailed the latter by one shot going into the final round.
Olivia shot a 72 to finish on -7, meaning that she broke par on all three days of the competition.
Following a celebration home coming at the club last Saturday evening for Olivia and her family, everyone acknowledged the hard work and practice that Olivia has done to achieve these great results on the international stage. Olivia also acknowledged the support of her family, especially her dad Mike Costello and thanked everyone for their good wishes since winning the event.
It is one of the biggest victories for Olivia to date and we wish her continued success in her golfing career.
