The final of the Ladies Spring Matchplay competition took place last Saturday with the single matches to complete the competition. Yet again the result was very close. The eventual winners was team A of Anne Quirke, Kay Ruane, Patricia Finneran, Mary O’Gara, Marina Cribbon, Sandra Kelly, Nuala Hughes and Patricia Donnelly with 10.5 points. The runner up team on 10 points was team C of Mary Lalor, Colette Glynn, Claire Keane, Joan Moran, Bernie Maher, Paula Whyte, Kay Condon and Marie Cleary. Well done to everyone.
