VERY IMPORTANT MESSAGE FOR ALL CLUB MEMBERS.

The golf season is in full swing and lessons for junior golfers are starting on Saturday 26th of April. Lessons run every second Saturday and we are delighted that we have the highest number of juniors availing of lessons yet, with over 60 juniors availing of lessons across 8 groups.

A number of juniors are new to golf and in the process of obtaining clubs. If any members have any old junior clubs lying around that are no longer needed, the junior convenors would be delighted to have a few spare clubs for players who do not yet have their own clubs. Similarly, second hand junior clubs are in high demand so if you have clubs you wish to sell, please feel free to let the junior convenors know and they will circulate details to juniors, or you are welcome to place an ad on the junior noticeboards.

Finally, with so many new juniors beginning lessons, if any members have old practice balls they are not attached to, the junior golf team would welcome these to assist with the junior lessons and activities.

Aidan Mulvihill will be in the club house on Saturday 19th from 5pm to 6pm, if members have anything to help with the junior golf programme. Volunteers are also always welcome so if you would like to discuss getting involved with junior golf, please let Aidan (087 9937176) or Laarni Beattie know………….Thanks again to all the members for their patience and support of our junior golfers who are the future of our club.
