Well done to the two teams and management who completed in the AIG All Ireland Finals in Tramore last week.

Hard luck to our Men’s Barton Shield team who lost to Castleknock on Thursday in the All Ireland quarter final. Simon Walker, Enda Daly, David & Allan Hill all played their best but unfortunately it was not to be. To Phelim Henry and his management team, thank you for all your work with this team over the last few months. 

Our ladies senior cup team played on Friday and had a great win over Laytown & Bettystown in the quarter final. Unfortunately our ladies lost to Douglas in the senior cup semi final on Saturday afternoon with the final match finishing on the 19th. A great performance by Olivia Costello, Sinead Benedetti, Ruth Lennon, Blaithin O’Brien and Paula Quinn and everyone on the panel. Thanks to manager Annie Timothy and her team for all your time over the last few months. Everyone in the club is very proud to you all.

AIG All Ireland Finals Ladies Senior Foursomes – Slieve Russell 

Next up for our ladies senior foursomes team is the All Ireland Finals in Slieve Russell next weekend. On Saturday 10^th September our ladies play Royal Tara with the first match starting at 9.00am. Wishing our senior foursomes panel and management the best of luck.
