Congratulations to Mary O’Keeffe, winner of President Cathal McConn’s Prize to the Ladies, with 148 nett. Patricia Donnelly was in second place with 152. Ruth Lennon won the gross prize with 170 gross. Margaret Brennan was in third place with 154. Marguerite Farrell was in fourth place with 154. Mary O’Gara was fifth with 154 and Mary Lalor was sixth with 154. Carmel Walker won the prize for the 1^st 18 holes with 75 nett and Gertie Spillane won the prize for the 2^nd 18 holes with 73. Peter Brady won the men’s Sunday competition with 41 points. Francis Noone was in second place with 38 points. Alan Craven won the Open Friday competition with 39 points and Barry Steede from Dunmore was in second place with 38 points. Eamonn Smith won the Open Over 55’s competition on Thursday with 40 points and Patrick Noone from Dunmore was in second place 38 points. Gertie Spillane won the ladies’ Open 9 hole competition with 22 points and Geraldine Hoban was in second place with 20 points. Good luck to the ladies’ team taking part in the Mary McKenna Diamond Trophy in Galway on Wednesday.
